How to make your own character

Materials you will need to make your own puppet
Fun Foam (available at most dollar stores)
Googly Eyes
Fun Fur
Pony Beads
Hair Elastics
Felt (Optional)

Directions
Cut an oval shape out of the fun foam. A good idea is to trace along your hand so that you have an idea of how big to make it. You may want the ends to be a bit more straight. Take this basic shape and cut another identical one out of the felt or fun foam. Fold the felt piece in half and cut in half, now you will trim both these pieces on the straight edge.
Don't forget to get an adult to help you with the cutting and glueing! Next you will glue your felt pieces to the top of the fun foam. White glue will take awhile to dry so if you get some help with a glue gun, it will be quicker.
While you are waiting for things to dry, we will do the eyes! If you want to make the eyes like the one in the photo you will need some nail polish! Take the googly eyes and paint a cresent shape on the top, then take a sharpie permanent marker and draw on the lashes! Then you will need a pipe cleaner, cut in half, and two pony beads. Wrap the bead on each end of the pipe cleaner and when your eyes are dry glue them on the beads. These eyes will actually fit around your index finger and do not attach to the other part at all.
The hair is simply a square of fun fur attached by a strip of felt to the hair elastic. You place this around the back of your hand! Now you are ready to add some bead teeth, and whatever else your imagination comes up with! Have Fun!
I need a good name for my character. Any ideas? I think he/she is an alien!
